Healthcare workforce shortages continue to impact families across Florida and our local counties. Many face critical shortages in primary care, nursing, mental health, and health education. Preparing local students for healthcare careers is a critical part of the solution.
GSAHEC builds the future healthcare workforce by engaging students early through our REACH Student Programs. High school students explore healthcare careers through hands-on learning, mentoring, and real-world experiences. Our Health Careers Academies and partnership with HOSA–Future Health Professionals provide clear pathways into healthcare education and careers.
