Chief Executive Officer
Serving as GSAHEC’s Chief Executive Officer since 2017, Ansley directs and supports administrative and programmatic success, with her greatest joy working alongside GSAHEC’s committed staff and board members. Ansley was originally hired in 2002 to implement community health education programs. Throughout the years, she has facilitated professional education classes, community health worker training, tobacco training for health professions students, marketing, and public relations efforts, and pursued various fund development initiatives helping GSAHEC secure significant cancer awareness grants and special project contracts.
Ansley is a past board member of the Community Coalition on Homelessness in Manatee County and the Charlotte County Healthy Start Coalition, past chair of the Sarasota County Wellness Coalition, and a past alumnus of Leadership Sarasota County. She was named as a finalist for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Health Care Hero Awards in 2011, and the Salute to Our Partner Award from The Health Councils, Inc., in 2008. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of South Florida and a Masters in Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida.
When Ansley is not working towards fulfilling the mission of GSAHEC, she enjoys kayaking, walking in the woods, enjoying the performing arts, and spending time with her loved ones.
