Heather Soucy

Heather is a Tobacco Cessation Specialist with Gulfcoast South AHEC, providing cessation services primarily in Charlotte and south Sarasota counties. With an extensive background in customer service, she has found that her skills are very helpful when building a rapport with both class attendees and community partners. She enjoys all aspects of her job, but the best part is receiving a call, text, or email from an attendee letting her know that they have successfully quit tobacco.

Heather believes that public health education is vital in all communities, and she knows that the team at Gulfcoast South AHEC goes above and beyond to uphold its mission.

When Heather is not at work, she can be found spending all her time (and money) attending travel softball games. On the off weekends, she enjoys beach days, reading, and time with family.
