As the Tobacco Program Assistant, Joelle’s biggest priority is supporting the tobacco cessation programs at GSAHEC. From data entry to prepping for classes, she works to ensure that the Tobacco Cessation Specialists have the nicotine replacement therapy and the materials they need to provide attendees with the best tools possible.
Joelle comes from a background working in the medical office and health insurance environments. Her customer service experience and working with patients brings compassion and understanding to ensure that when she makes referral calls, she creates a comfortable and informed environment. Her hope is that they feel confident with the help GSAHEC offers them along the way in their quit journey.
In her free time, Joelle enjoys gardening, going on long walks, listening to jazz music, and spending time with her family.
